Sponsors do not buy a logo. They buy a place to belong.

FC Rotkreuz has been playing since 1958 and is building a new ground. To pay for it, the club has to ask local companies for money, and it was asking the way most clubs ask: a Word file and a handshake. This project gave the club a way to ask that a company can actually say yes to.

The usual way

Club sponsoring is a Word file and a handshake. A local company gets a logo on a board and a PDF nobody keeps. There is no argument in it, no picture of what the money builds, and nothing a marketing manager can take to their own boss.

The pitch, online

A sponsor rarely decides in the clubhouse. They decide later, alone, in front of a screen. So the pitch had to live online as well as on paper: the same argument, the same pictures, the same tiers, reachable from a link in an email.

One system, one story

Four pieces, one voice. The dossier opens the door, the board concept explains the plan, the matchday programme carries it into the stadium, and the website is where the sponsor reads it in their own time. Same typography, same photography, same tiers in all four.

The point

Small clubs deserve big-club presentation. Not because it looks nicer, but because a company that is asked properly can say yes properly.

01Sponsoring dossier

Twelve pages, A4, printed. The document a company keeps on the desk instead of in the trash.

02Board concept

The plan behind the new ground, written for the people who have to approve it.

03Matchday programme

A folded sheet that carries the same voice into the stadium on the day itself.

04The website

Where the sponsor actually reads it, alone, later, from a link in an email.
