Barba swaps the container. Nothing else.

Four things broke on our own site after a page change. All four had the same cause. Barba replaces the main container and leaves everything outside it untouched.

One window width proves nothing

We reported the same headline bug fixed three times while it was still there. Every measurement had been taken at 1440 pixels, the one width where the layout happened to be correct.

A transform breaks every fixed element inside it

A finished GSAP animation leaves a transform on the element, even when the value is the identity matrix. That leftover broke every fixed element inside it after each page change.
